Sautéed Spinach is a quick and healthy side dish made with fresh spinach and spiced up with flavorful chili garlic podi. Perfect for pairing with rice, dal, or any main course!
Prepare the Spinach: Rinse 1 lb fresh spinach leaves thoroughly and allow it to drain. If the leaves are large, chop them roughly.
Sauté the Spinach: Heat a pan over medium heat (no oil needed as spinach releases water). Add the spinach and cook, stirring occasionally, until it wilts and reduces in volume, about 3-5 minutes.
Add Spice Powders: Sprinkle 1 tablespoon chili garlic powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, and ½ teaspoon salt evenly over the sautéed spinach. Toss well to coat the spinach with the podi.
Serve: Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy hot as a side with rice, dal, or any main dish.
